1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Capitol Gains ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
Capitol Gains aggregates publicly available financial disclosure data filed under the STOCK Act by members of the United States Senate. The data is sourced from public mirrors of official Senate disclosures. We display this data in an easy-to-read format and may offer optional paid features such as SMS alerts.
3. Not Financial Advice
The information provided by Capitol Gains is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other sort of advice. You should not treat any of the content on this site as such. Capitol Gains does not recommend that any securities be bought, sold, or held by you. Do your own due diligence and consult a licensed financial advisor before making any investment decisions.
4. Data Accuracy
While we strive to display accurate and timely data, Capitol Gains makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information presented. Disclosure data is sourced from public third-party mirrors and may contain errors, omissions, or delays. You use this data at your own risk.
5. Waitlist and Paid Services
By joining our waitlist, you consent to receiving email communications about product updates and the launch of paid features. Paid services, when available, will be subject to separate subscription terms, including pricing, billing cycles, and cancellation policies, which will be presented at the time of purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (c) redistribute our data feeds commercially without a separate license; (d) use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Intellectual Property
The underlying STOCK Act disclosure data is public domain. The Capitol Gains platform design, branding, software, and any original analysis or enrichment we add are our intellectual property. You may share individual trade cards via the built-in share feature.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capitol Gains and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or investment losses arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
